Tritton AX Pro Headset
After my experience with the Turtle Beach PX21 headset I decided to upgrade to something a little more expensive and hopefully a little stronger. After asking around a lot of people recommended I try the Tritton AX Pro Headset or anything from Tritton for that matter.
I decided to buy the Tritton AX Pro’s for £130 from a local company. After my last experience I decided to also take out an extra replacement warranty for 3 years costing £36.
The Tritton AX Pro Headset provides 5.1 surround sound via 8 speakers, 4 speakers inside each ear piece.
The volume control allows you to adjust the volume of the front, rear, centre and sub speakers either individually or together. Volume levels are represented on each speaker button in various colours.
A Digital Audio control box is also supplied.
The digital audio uses Dolby Digital Prologic II Decoder. With Dynamic Range Control and adjustable time delay for center and rear speakers it has two ports for duel headsets and Analog 5.1 outputs for front, rear and sub.
The headsets are compatible with PC, Xbox 360 & PS3.
An optical cable is supplied with the headsets. This cable connects to the optical port on both the Xbox 360 and PS3.
So far I’m pleased with buying the Tritton AX Pro’s, yeah a little bit on the expensive side but the surround sound aspect and what seems to be a sturdy build is worth every penny.
However, come back to me in a couple of months and ask how I like these Tritton Headsets, age of time is the best test for any product.
