Currently Playing Sniper Elite V2

Newly released Sniper Elite V2 was a game I had been looking forward to seeing since the first Sniper Elite was recommended to me. After playing the demo I just had to get it plus its based on World War 2 which never gets old for me.

I ordered the PC version from Amazon UK for £22 and my girlfriend bought me the xbox version. As suggested by Donncha I should have waited until the summer sales on Steam as the cost will probably be slashed right down but I’m a man with no patience.

Last night I started playing Sniper Elite V2 on the Xbox and I have to say I’m really enjoying it. The story line itself doesn’t interrupt the gameplay as the cut scenes are held between each mission so more playing the game than actually watching it.

One challenge I’ve set myself is to replicate the shot CheapKills pulled in the below video but so far I haven’t even come close.

    1. Hopefully I’ll play this with you coop this summer 🙂

I played the demo briefly but after not completing it for the 4th time gave up. I suck at aiming too, even with a mouse!

Sounds like a plan. I think this is easier on the consoles that on the PC but there again that could be down to me not being used to the old keyboard & mouse for fps.

I’m still playing the first one with a friend………..6years and counting. On the hardest level. The first one was much much harder so I’m disappointed a bit but looking forward to doing co op as well

I take it the first one is worth buying? I think I’ll pick it up as it did come recommended by a few people now.
