The Gamer’s Craic Is Good Craic

| January 11, 2011 | 5 Comments

Another new launch of podcasts for gamers is the The Gamer’s Craic hosted by Donncha and Dave (aka Mr Cheapkills).

I’m surprised these guys didnt mention this but if you are from outside Ireland/UK then you are probably wondering what the heck does Craic mean! In Ireland its used a lot to describe a joke, entertainment of having a good laugh so the name of their podcast show is very fitting indeed.

Anyhow, head over hear to listen to their first podcast.

Great work guys, keep it going!

    1. Donncha says:

Thanks Gavin. Guess we should have mentioned it alright 🙂

    2. David says:

I like to leave ambiguity in the things that I say as it’s a good way to promote discussion (generally). The Gamer’s Craic when said can also be taken to sound like ‘Crack’ – something highly addictive. So as I said to Donncha previously: it’s a pun within a pun.

And why can’t I subscribe to your blog!? I don’t know how to RSS!

    3. Gavin says:

Dave sorry I took so long in approving your comment, better late than never!

I’ll add a plugin to the blog so people can subscribe, I thought it was on here already as I have it on my other blogs.

    4. Paul says:

Ahhhhh I always wondered what that mean’t and now it makes perfect sense.

Sorry I’ve not been over here for a while, I’ve slapped myself a few times and will correct that for the future

Hmm, it explains everything. I wonder what Craic means because I couldn’t find a translation for that. Google translator tells that Craic means SAMOCHODY – which means CARS in English.
